1994

  • The company is founded.

1995

  • The first terminal is opened in Saint Petersburg.
  • The first long term contracts with the largest European suppliers are signed.

1996

  • JFC (Joint Fruit Company) brand is created.

1997

  • The company is listed in the top ten Russian fruit importers.
  • Deliveries from South America and Africa are set up.

1998

  • A terminal is opened in Samara.

1999

  • The private label Bonanza is created. JFC obtains exclusive rights to distribute a whole range of fruits from worldwide known fruit brands.
  • Work begins on our own banana program (full cycle production, sea logistics and distribution). Bananas become the main product.
  • Terminals are opened in Moscow and Ekaterinburg.

2000

  • Turnover reaches 100 million US dollars.
  • The 1C real time accounting and budgeting system is implemented.

2001

  • JFC Group becomes the largest  supplier of bananas to Russian market.
  • Krasnodar terminal is opened.

2002

  • Turnover reaches 300 million US Dollars.
  • The company buys its first ice class refrigerated cargo ship.
  • The best banana terminal in Europe is opened in Saint Petersburg.
  • Chelyabinsk terminal is opened.

2003

  • An advanced management system (SAP R/3) is successfully introduced.
  • First bond issue worth 700 million roubles is launched.
  • JFC Group is named Company of the Year by the magazine Kompanya in the category «Trade and Distribution».

2004

  • Novosibirsk terminal is opened.
  • The second bond issue is launched worth 1.2 billion roubles.
  • A specialised affiliated company is established to carry out retail distribution.
  • JFC Group enters the top 200 Russian private companies according to Forbes and Expert magazines.

2005

  • Reorganisation of the Group is completed in Russia.
  • First plantations are purchased in Ecuador.
  • 5 new ice class cargo ships are purchased for transporting fruit.
  • Terminals are opened in Kazan and Nizhny Novgorod.
  • First CLN are issued worth of 60 million US dollars.
  • Start of delivery to foreign countries.
  • B-credit rating given (Standard&Poor’s).

2006

  • Long term contracts signed with leading retail chains across the whole territory of Russia.
  • The third bond issue of 2 billion roubles.
  • Plantations in Ecuador are expanded to 2000 hectares.

2007

  • Turnover reaches 500 million US dollars.
  • First banana plantations in Costa-Rica are purchased; JFC presence in Ecuador is also increased.
  • 150 million US dollars international syndicated loan is attracted.
  • First Russian fruit brand Bonanza! is relaunched with a national advertising campaign.
  • Bonanza! bananas enter Forbes top 50 bestselling products according to retail sales in Russia.
  • A new distribution channel is created through selling fruit from vending machines.
  • Formation of JFC Group's international holding structure is completed.
